Changed a few things, didn't like how my wheels were turned so I changed that. And I decided to go for a black sort of background. It needs a bounce light and there are some areas of the car I'm not really thrilled with that will need to be touched up a tad in Modo. I really hate working in the Standalone, really can't wait for the modo plugin. Such a hassle to export everything and such.

Needless to say though, it looks better but the car shader is still in the meh area.

This is now starting to look a bit better but I feel that my material settings for the car paint are meh. I attached a screenshot of my settings as well this
time.

So again, if anyone can give me some tips for my car paint shader much thanks would be given!

Been working on it some more, looking a bit better. I made some mistakes in the mesh I didn't notice at the time so that needs to be fixed up. Still not really happy with the lighting or the material to be honest but it's getting better.

The tire material still plagues me though :/

- Car material is the same as last time but I still feel it needs to be adjusted >.<

Slowly slowly getting better. I took a break from it but I think i should be done in the next day or so. I need to add a sidewall texture to the tire me thinks. But the material is still the same as last time and still crappy looking. The wheel hub needs to have a better material on it stilllllll <.<

Car paint is in the so-so range still.

There is a slight error with the light stripe going down the side of the car. It should be a continuous thing but I messed up on the material settings before exporting sadly. It's really annoying just using the stand alone...

Huh, may have regressed a little in terms of lighting. Now that I look at the old one. Oh well. I gave it a shot. Maybe increasing the power of the HDR might help a bit. *sigh* I dunno. I think adding one more plane light may help. We shall see.

Overall though I think the style is getting better (I think)! Just need to fix the rims up a bit more.

Also having a hard time trying to figure out what kind of material to use for the underside and the bottom half of the car. Will keep playing.
