Wohoooooooooow!

You guys R O C K !!!!!!
1.2 is stable and fast. Great. Now up to new horizonts and leave the competitors behind you!

In my opinion most important features would be now:
-motion blur
-better 3d mouse handling
-rounded edges
- much much much much much better uv textures handling
-well prepared and physically right prepared live database which can be downloaded and used (simple) offline too!

Then, in my opinion, octane would be the world best render engine out at the moment!

Kind regards Chris!

You guys all know by now what I want.. so very, very desperately...

I won't say it.. *bites lip*

But I am going to be praying to the 3D gods that it will be coming in
a release candidate - in the very near future...

PS - thanks for 1.20 ;)

well done.
So motion blur and render region would be useful for the next step.

I think Motion Blur is hard without animation core-based support

Can someone please explain to me how to create the fog effect/volumetric light to achieve the same effect shown in the picture above? (forest with sunrays and fog).

I've tried using the "fade shadows" option on a specular material...nothing happens..
Even in a basic setup with a room & a window I couldn't get it done..

Help please :) and thank you in advance!
Please check out these threads http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=30412 and http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=32917, it explains how to create a similar effect as in the picture.
