Maxwell has a strong user-base from commercial and product design industry. They also have a great integration to Realflow which is also the tool to have if it comes to fluids.

This week they will introduce Maxwell 3.0 on Siggraph with again lotso of new improvements to speed and other features. And indeed the big budget prodcutions can use renderfarms easy.
