Here is one I did with your RedSpec 2.5. I need to snag the rest and play with them. Thank you so so much for these as they've helped immensely.

Now that is one gorgeous render.
I wonder if your skin material can be replicated in the standalone?

Wilt: thanks. Yes it certainly does give me some ideas of how you're doing it. Much appreciated.
Here's what I learned: looks like you're doing a mix material of diffuse and glossy with a bump map, the diffuse is a jpg, the glossy is an rgb texture - you're using the scattering node in the diffuse. In the glossy node you're using a little bit of roughness and specular too.
If you get a minute would you please be able to have a look at the numbers I copied from your image (they are pretty small and I couldn't read all of them):
material 1 (mix material?)
diffuse: jpg texture
power: 1.0
gamma: 1.23?
scale: 1.0
invert: disabled?
transmission: multiply
texture1: rgb texture 216,10,0?
texture2: jpg texture
power 1
gamma: 0.1?
scale: 1.0
invert: disabled
bump: jpg texture
power: 0.055?
gamma: 0.1
scale: 1.0
invert: disabled
normal: 0.0
opacity: 0.99876
smooth: enabled
emission: null emission
medium: scattering
aborption: 0.242?
scattering: 5.274?
phase: schick
emission: null
scale: 250
material 2 (mix material?)
rgb texture?
218?,?,?
specular: 0.1
roughness: 0.1
filmwidgth: 10.0?
filmindex: 1.45
bump: jpg texture - is this the same bump as in the diffuse?
power: 0.055?
gamma: 1.0
scale: 1.0
invert: disabled

Wilt: you are a genius sir. Thank you.
(Now I need to sculpt the pores into my one reasonable looking character's face in zbrush to get a reasonable bump map!)
Alternatively I wonder if it might be possible to overlay a poser or daz high rez bump map over the UVs of my own character and tweak it to save me the hassle of sculpting....
Anyways: cheers Walt. Much appreciated.
