What are you simulating wit hfire and fluid Roubal? Something to show us? :)

Is that a bump map on the dunes to get that dunes effect? and which kernal do you render with?

The dunes are modelised.
Kernel : pathtracing.
Always. If not, reflections on headlights are bad.

I use Craft Animation Studio. Only available with the r11.5 version.
Then exporting the animation tracks in the r13 version.
At the end, using the cinema4d exporter in animation mode.

so you render the entire scene inside of Octane? and was the imported scene an OBJ? or a native Octane extension? what about the lighting?

@mbetke : unfortunately not, because I currently can't afford the machine I would need ! A friend of mine is a fire investigator, and could bring me some work if I could do fast realistic fire and smoke simulations. Unfortunately, I have not enough computing power under my hand for such work.
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.
