Can't wait to throw my money at nvidia for this card.
But if it is not faster in computing as a 580 I will keep my bugs.

Hmmm so this appears to be the same as a Tesla K20x ?
4.5 tflops sp for a lot less money :)
So then based on Gabriele's previous experiment its about 35% faster than a 580... hope so

German page writes on 1/8 of full clokcing for the CUDA cores but they can be set in drivers to higher values to get more double precision power.
But 1/8 doesnt sound good....Seems I will run my 2 GTX580 for a loooong time lol. Only the 6GB are worth the buy now. But I don't have much projects using them at all.

In two days there will be proper benchmarks.

EDIT:
German page 3-SLI test with more numbers as english pages from Glimpse. :)

For that price, Nvidia can keep it. You can have 4 second hand 580s instead.

I cant wait to see this baby in a Machine that runs octane! To be honest i waited with the new rig to see how these cards perform! Will check back every day, if someone made a test!

Imagine a Dualcore 2011 Mainboard, 2 6core i7 Prozessors and 8 of these babies with risers in a seperate case! Would be my dream machine if this card really is as fast as a gtx 690! Unbelievable render Power with 6GB of Ram for my szenes!

I don´t wanna even think about my electricity bill!

Kind regards Chris!
