please download the latest version of the script (1.03).
then try exporting the same scene, go to the event log viewport in modo, save the event log master list and post the so i can see.

in the Export Configuration tab, do you export the gpu properties? if so, try not to
Do you have any ngones in the chicken model? in so, make sure to only have quads and tris.

my guess is that you're exporting the GPU settings and that's what causing octane to crash.
it's the same thing for me under win7 but on osx it's working fine, so my best guess is that launching octane with the -g flag (telling octane what gpu to use) cause octane to crash under win7.

regarding the cmd prompt, that's the port that launching octane. so if modo hangs, during single frame rendering, then just close the cmd.

Hi, you were correct.
(I've been away for a few days and didn't get time to try earlier..)
Deselecting the GPU devices to use flag seems to have fixed the issue, I have used the script to boot up Octane and render the file (Chicken, btw is just a stock modo 401 mesh) and all works fine.
The camera seemed to be set really long, but I did not pay any attention to the settings for that before exporting.
I'll now swap over to v1.03 and give that a whirl.
Thanks again!!
