Well, it's in progress, I restarted to work on it last week as I was in hollidays before and was quite busy in the meantime. I had to face several problems mainly due to APIs and properties renaming from the previous alpha and the current beta version of Blender. Also, lot of things have changed on the way to implement the new API and this requires some investigation for me. I'll keep you informed as soon as I have something working ...

Yes, I agree. Please take your time so you don't need to make all of the changes on a moving target. Getting it right is more important.

I still have had no time to switch to Blender 2.5x, but the idea of Octane accessible from Blender is on my top dream list ! ;)
French Blender user - CPU : intel Quad QX9650 at 3GHz - 8GB of RAM - Windows 7 Pro 64 bits. Display GPU : GeForce GTX 480 (2 Samsung 2443BW-1920x1600 monitors). External GPUs : two EVGA GTX 580 3GB in a Cubix GPU-Xpander Pro 2. NVidia Driver : 368.22.

Ditto! I'd die to have GPU rendering at my fingertips. Hopefully it can become a reality :)
