This post shows you my search and found for the 4x gpu 580 3gb (aircoolig) config with details on config, photo and price.

This 580 classified are special design for aircooling.. probably the 680 has this version as well.
The temps during benchmark was max 85 for top while bottom was 71 degrees.

Hi guys-
Well, all is well with the temps and a 24 hour animation test. No problems. GPU at full throttle seems to hover around 80-83C for the first card and dropping a degree or two as they go down the list. From what I've been told these cards are cooled from the back to front. That fan in the heat sync is pulling air from the back through the fins. I'm pretty sure they were designed to run this way. How else could you make a quad SLI?

I'll let you know how it goes with this rig as I go on. I can (and will) buy the store insurance for these. Makes sense just in case.

BTW- This rig is pulling a solid 14.85 in the PT benchmark. Seems pretty good to me.
