Are these shadows from HDRI alone? I never been able to get so hard/pronounced shadows from HDRI env maps before, so maybe this is used together with the new HDRI environment importance sampling? Anyway, shadow catcher looks sweet :) Much much much wanted Thank you for showing these new features!

More awesome news. Thank you guys!

Question: how will saving of separate passes be handled? Preferably we would need a way (a nodal setup most likely) to save all this passes in one go. The current way of re-running (reload, revoxelize) your animation for each pass, will start to get more cumbersome and time consuming with each new pass added to Octane.

Will something like this be possible in Octane:
