If you share more information I'll be happy.
First i setup the scene in both daylight, and HDRI..(as you see, there are daylight and HDRI in different scene), in above scene i didn't put any emitters,
but sometime yes.., i'll show you bellow when i use emitters.., an about the samples for animation i use in 512.., but for still image usually i use only 7500sample..
And for AO i use at 2-3 depend on the scene itself (because we can still play with Post-pro after...., i guess that's it hope its usefull
