Here is a quick fix for x64.
Replace the Soft2Octane_x64.dll from the C:\Users\XX\Autodesk\Softimage_XXX\Addons\Soft2Octane\Application\Plugins\bin\nt-x86-64 folder with the one from the zip file.

The frames appear to finish correctly, however the plugin does not seem to advance the timeline. It just renders the first frame of the animation over and over.

SetValue("Soft2Octane.start", 50, null);
SaveScene();

No problem, I appreciate the quick help.

The plugin seems to work now. I will let it run over night and see what happens :-)

The machine has now rendered for 24 hours non-stop without any problems. The plugin works perfectly, thanks again! :)

I got two different ICE clouds each with its own Octane Scatter.. But I only get one them actually writing out a .obj/.scv file and the other one is ignored? Is there any workaround for this? Seems also my particles are now flipped in the direction :O

The flipped issue is solved but i don´t know why one pointcloud is ignored.
If the Set Octane Scatter compound is set in each cloud to true, it should export a csv file for every cloud.
Have test it with a duplicated cloud where the second has an other shape and an other speed.
Try to use this dll for x64.

Hi Face,

I'm having some problems installing this latest version on Softimage 2011. The dll seems to be the cause (appears in red in the plugin manager). I tried to replace the dll with the one you're providing on page 2 of this thread but doesn't work either.
When I try to access the plugin through the toolbar menu I get the following error:
Application.SIAddProp("Soft2Octane", "Scene_Root", "siDefaultPropagation", "Soft2Octane", "")
# ERROR : Invalid procedure call or argument: 'SIAddProp' - [line 18]
# ERROR : (Microsoft VBScript runtime error)
# ERROR : [16] (null)
# ERROR : [17] function gen
# ERROR : >[18] SIAddProp "Soft2Octane", "Scene_Root", siDefaultPropagation, "Soft2Octane"
# ERROR : [19] inspect
# ERROR : [20] end function
# ERROR : Invalid procedure call or argument: 'SIAddProp'
Can you help me?

When the dll is red, they isn´t loaded.
Have you installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x64/x86 Runtimes and Redistributeables?
