Oh JimStar I forgot!!!! Those .dmp's were with the 2.58j build. Only the latest one (The LiveDB crash in the sub-.zip) comes from the 2.58k version of the plugin.......

Please, don't talk about bugs of previous versions in the new version threads, as these bugs may be already fixed and I just spend my time trying to find already fixed bugs...:?

And I already asked somewhere: is it needed in some usecases for Maya artists to have that gamma correction before loading to engine or not?
I think yes, since most of the textures is sRGB-encoded, except cases when people takes special care for that matter. Even if you going to support just the textures with "gamma 1.0" and "gamma 2.2" it would be already awesome.

I can't really tell if there's a need to change the way the gamma is dealt with on image textures in the plugin.

What Joss is saying makes sense to me but I'm pretty happy with the amount of control over image texture gamma with that slider on the 'octaneImageTexture' node.

I have just encountered this issue as well, it happened when I duplicated a light rather than created a new one, all of the settings seemed to be linked. Creating 2 lights works fine on my system.

Hmm, yes it work. But sometimes need duplicate light, and change value of attribute. If is not a bug, may be do a checkbox when check duplicate input connection, when unchek not duplicate.
