HI, yes please, where we can get the manual for comand line
I haven't even seen in octane any option for command line. Is it hidden somewhere ?
However, its very important to make it more user friendly somehow
If you can, could point me where to run the command line from and an example of batch command, for example :
camera 1, time 5min (or samples), save to ..., camera 2, time 8min, save to ...., camera3 etc....
Thank you so much
Octane VS Arion and some improvable suggestion!~~

mm, I haven't looked at the manual for a longtime, but If I remember good & they haven't changed anything - Comand line options should be in the end of it.rappet wrote:Hi Glimpse,
I always like to read your posts, very helpfull and clearifying everytime.
About using the command line and Batch render: is there a manual for all the parameters?

Greetz,
there's one more solution to fire up all comands on screen, that when You're editing Your batch file You could look for those in Octane /though I couldn't remember it - haven't used OR for a while now..
p.s. thanks for nice words =)

Yes, the parameters are in the end of the manual, and there is small explanation. Bigger explantion 'slash' tutorial would be nice though. Anyway, sorry to hack this thread with this subject... maybe should be a seperate thread about How to use Command line if there is not one yet?

maybe I could try to share, when I get to my PC..
on the meantime, there's already some thread on the forum,
so just do some searchin' - maybe that will be faster for You =)

Looks like you overlooked a biggie. Arion supports displacement, Octane doesn't.
Oops! old post. This doesn't bode well.

I see you use Arion. Which do you use most? Which do you prefer? Does it depend on the project? How do you decide?
Displacement and HDRI + SUN are the big requirements for me (archviz mostly).
