Thank you guys, but it was done very quickly, there is a lot of mistakes. Whole miracle is in Octane
At first, big thanks for a dream come true!!
I used 480 and 580, scene filled 0,6 G.
I used 3 models of trees, 2 x bunches of grass (really hipoly, cheaper grass edition called REALGRASS, http://exorbit-art.de/shop/real-ground-plants-v1/ ),
6 x bushes, 2x small plants.
It seemed to be very stable and usefull. Whole scene was painted by grafit modeling tool in 3dsmax. I had to do only one very important think - SET DIPLAY AS BOX for every instances in OBJECT PROPERTIES.
I had problem only with colorcorrection i posted it in plugin discussion section.
All the best

For get good performance with your painting a proxy support would be really great. I hope to see it in the future.

very nice, too bad for the tree leaves that miss some cutout opacity map!
Question: did you just paint the the object as instance in 3ds max and export them to octane?

I wrote to iToo to add support for Octane instances.
I think they need instructions on how to implement it.

is this made with 3dmax plugin? if so i guess you did not used any scatter of instance plug? just used the octane command? it looks so good...jan kudelasek wrote:Thank you guys, but it was done very quickly, there is a lot of mistakes. Whole miracle is in Octane![]()

sweet mother of vegetation beauty, come to us
edit: just figured out the basics with graphite tools object paint - cool, I didn't really use it for anything before
even cooler thing, you can preview it as you paint over the grass or whatever, this a lot more fun
