Hi,
If there is no error report and crash log, it's likely that you're driver/toolkit installation is the problem.
Try reinstalling the cuda driver and cuda toolkit and octane render.

Hi, quiet new here and having also crash problems with demo (OSX 10.5.8) , better to post here or new topic ?
Thanks
Thanks
Where are these toolkits downloaded?
I have an Acer Laptop with a Cuda enabled nVidia display adapter, but any OBJ I try and import crashes Octane, sometimes straight to Windows7 desktop, other times with an error (I will note it later and report back).
Cheers!

Hi!
I don't think you'll need the toolkit under Win, am I right?
I'm no expert but in my personal experience most of the crashes I see are due to driver/installation probs (crashes on startup) or out of Vmemory probs (crashes on obj/texture loading). Also, in Win you may need to do a little tweak in the registry (can't remember where but it's been discussed several times in the forums - try a quick search)
cheers,
A
