Geometry Issue

Important notice: All artwork submitted on our public gallery forums gallery forums may or may not be used by OTOY for publication on our website gallery.

Hi renderfarmsrl,

It's not a problem with the plugin or import as far as i know - it is just a matter of scale.
Just select everything in your scene in Cinema 4d, scale it by 0.10 then reload it into octane.

Hopefully that will fix the problem.

Also,
If you haven't done so already check the Obj Import settings in your octane preferences. Make sure that the Scale at the bottom is correct for your import.
Meters is the default. You should set it to the same as what Cinema 4D is set to (i'm not familiar with Cinema4D so i can't help you here sorry). Leave it as meters if you are unsure.

Thank you for the answer. Actually the project already has the right scale size "meters" in c4d and octane. Maybe I do have to check once again... As soon as I can I will give a feedback. Cheers!

Try to export a sample .obj with problematic parts (not the full scene) so we can check the geometry...
