Thanx for the headups Roeland! This makes planning alot easier. I hoped for faster Kepler support, but instancing is way more important, so its nice to hear that you finally can bring out the resources and focus on that feature.

Roeland, any clue when the plugins you are working on will get released? Or will you do open betas for them?

As said, here are some screenshots of our early instancing code.

Will instancing features be available trough exporters, or only to integrated plugins?

It actually depends who are going to release this first, as by the roadmap iRay s moving towards hat direction too..

Anyway, this is one of the most amazing images, probably the best! I've seen to date in whole refractive forums! It is epic. After instances will a milestone will be thrown down to archviz scene - this momend will shift a lot of things. Looking forward for that patiently =) i will not ask anything for now from You guys, just do what You do! Amazing..

A superb job! You are myths! :D
I wanted to ask a little more information. You will have plans to implement the case for instances with the possibility of being able to have a scaling random models?
Or manage models for instances not all the same uniform and with an effect "Turbulence"..
I hope to be able to explain .. :oops:

@Roeland:
Thank you very much for keeping us updated, it's highly appreciated !
The instancing renderings look very promising.
It seems that things are heading in the right direction. With instancing + CUDA 5 + integrated plugins there is a good chance, that Octane will just blow away most other renderers in the near future.
