Hi I have a question regarding rendering animation out of octane. Is it possible to export a scene I animated out of maya to octane and render it currently? If yes I will buy it immediately. Loving the realtime rendering :)

yes there is a maya plugin available for beta 2.2 which is in release candidate and will probably be ready for propper release/use during early next week.

Hi radiance, could you please tell us the animation methods that Maya Plugin will be able to work with? (Just joints, smooth and riggid skin, defformers, blend shapes, etc)
Thanks a lot

Currently it just dumps out a large mesh of your scene per frame as triangles, keeping octane materials intact.

Hi everyone!

Is there function "smooth" or support of Maya's "smooth" for smoothing poligonal objects (character objects)?
In which format is output of Octane Render? Is there support of RGBa in Octane Render v1.022 beta2.2?
Will we get Octane Render v1.022 beta2.2 if we buy v1.0 Studio Beta Program now?

Hi, yes smoothing is supported and there's a maya plugin.
current octane writes PNG files (tonemapped) but we're adding addtional outputs in 2.3
You will have access to all v1.0 version with the current beta.

Great!! Nice improves. What about plugins for Lightwave and Modo? Are in the roadmap?
