yes it's a known issue with OSX and multiple graphic cards then, you have to stick with the 9400m until the problem is solved (I'm in the same boat as you can seeyards16 wrote:...and these are the two graphics cards I have installed

Hi,
I had the exact same problem as the thread opener.
I installed X11, and now it still doesn't start up, but it comes up with a different error message:
Does anybody know what to do?
Thank you in advance!

please read the included readme.txt or click on the 'read the release notes' on the demo download page...

Thanks Radiance.
It works now.
However, the instructions on this page are not quite clear, I think (at least not for people who are not familiar with the subject, like me). It says "The software requires the installation of the drivers below."
But on the page it links to both downloads for drivers and for the toolkit. So initially I just installed the drivers and that's why it didn't work.
Thank you again, installing the toolkit solved my problem.

that's why there's a big orange exclamation sign with 'read the release notes' on the demo download pageMDomino wrote:Thanks Radiance.

Okay, you are right.
Guess I missed the top left one, because all in all there are five orange exclamation marks and a few more orange graphic elements, so I just saw the Mac OS X one and the bottom one and missed the top one.
But thank you, everything works fine now.
