Ok
Please try to deactivate plugin licence and octane licence, delete that folders in {...} again and to activate plugin and octane licence back.

I deactivated my account and deleted the folder as instructed, it took an hour before I could reactivate it. It still didn't work. :(

Would I have needed to reboot 3ds max before reactivating?

meanwhile... this all looks extremely strange; i'm too really curious what is causing this. to me all your renders look like there is a notable amount of ambient light - even if you only used this single emitter plane. just for the records, can you post your blackbody emitter settings (power/normalize/distribution/efficiency)? another thing i can not understand are the camera settings; in the first screenshot you have posted, your camera shows a focal depth of 49 meters (with autofocus on). that already sounds a bit weird to me ;)
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

Alright, I should have the account reactivated within 30-35 minutes and I have turned off 3ds max. Anything else you would like me to do?

Have you deactivated Octane Standalone?

For the most part this is happening with ambient background ambient lighting/daylighting/blackbody lighting under any and all settings thus far that I have tweaked. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the settings for the camera settings, (which in my early 'what the heck' moment, I was tweaking to see if anything else was off. For the moment if something looks strange, it was not intentional). Even with the scene that was just provided to me this seems to be happening with no modification to the settings.

As for the blackbody setting for the original scene:

It seems to have deactivated when I deactivated the plugin. It comes up with the activating screen.
