wish list +1 :

- object properties -> visibility

enable opacity animation of individual object without messing with duplicated material

I'm experiencing another bug:

Enabling Octane as a viewport crashes max 2011 & 2012.
This doesn't seem to affect everyone.

System:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64 german SP1
Geforce GT 240M with Driver Version 290.53
3ds max 2011 SP2
3ds max 2012 SP2
Octane Standalone 1.0 beta 2.56

Arion hasn't collaborative rendering...Vray can do it because is Opencl based.

Arion has a command line netwarrior utility, difficult to use.

In Max if you have one single machine you can use NOW the batch render...it works like a charm.
I tested Backburner too having me two Octane for Max licenses...and it works. I don't know if Octane for Max pass the textures to the nodes because the Max archive engine doesn't recognize Octane textures path.

Nope, sorry. This are two different things. The extra window floating around is working fine here until I right click it. This will crash max. But max is crashing instantly when I'm changing "Perspective" for example to an Octane viewport.

You're right....I never used this feature before, I prefer the floating window because I can resize it and change its proportion.
