What kernel type do you use? Direct Lighting?
You have to use PMC for best result. And at this moment there isn't refractive caustic from sun.
sun not working!
this is a known issue since a long time, with octanerender 2.5x up to 2.56, nothing to do with the plugin product.
we will fix this in the next releases of octane and also the product (it always implements what the octane versioon in question supports)
just use a self-built area light to simulate the sun, area lights do pass through glass.

this is a sideeffect of not having bidirectional pathtracing yet, which will come in the near future,
however, we will fix this with a workaround in the next releases.

Yes. There are two standalone accounts. Maybe that's the problem.

Same here. GTX240M (VERDE R285 DRIVER v285.79), 3ds max 2012 x64 & 3ds max 2011 x64 on Win7 SP1 german, Octane Standalone v2.55b.

Yes, you need a license for OctaneRender for 3DS Max. They are separate licenses.

Hello Octane staff,
you cannot rotate the hdri when you put it in the environment slot (i think because the Image texture map dont have the offset parameters) Can you implement this feature?

Best regards
