Seems a lot of people have this problem .. :\
People don't want to pay for pretty pictures, cause they don't understand and don't care, they think of it like you fiddled your mouse cause you like to play with computers and get something out that looks photo brilliantly realistic -> those are shitty clients, get new ones :), I hate that, there will always be people that undermine talented creative people, just because they do not understand their work, the fact you actually spent years before you started making really good stuff doesn't particularly concern anyone, to them it's like, oh I hate sitting in front of a computer.. he's a geek

I come accross that all the time, that's why I don't make any money, clients don't care for the skills and revolutionary technology, they only care about the cost, why should they, you need a client that understands the work - or sell yourself as being the next best thing after steve jobs, and act as you are the master designer so you can boost a clients ego, and he will want to pay a lot, cause it means it's really worth a lot, or have a magical telepathical or word of mouth situation where you'll get people to come to you spontaneously, I think it's called "networking" :), but it really seems like it's a stroke of luck, work at the idea of how to attract good clients, there must be a problem that has to be solved in order to fulfill it, so think about it in that manner, there has to be demand for a certain kind of services in order for you to fulfill them, or a problem that you can solve, or offer the same service as everyone but in a different, intelligent more approachable way, or another classic is - make your client make more money using your services and you will always have a job

about noisy renders - in reality..
For instance I had a printed out and color copied a render on a4 sheet, just testing out the printer, it looked pretty noisy and I thought it wasn't looking any good, crappy printout..
but a friend that's into graphic design and knows his stuff and does a bit of 3d looked at the a4 printout from a meter lenght and asked me, hey did you get a wide lens for your DSLR, and I was like, what are you talking about you idiot it's a crappy render :)

the noise is usually gone when you print it on a4, or unoticable, I mean you get noise on DSLRs, you know when you use a high iso level, it's always noisy and a bit fuzzy.. so people really don't notice such details, they notice the realistic mood of a picture, you don't tend to go for details, you go for the focus of the picture, only when you analyse it in detail, you'll go over the technical aspect, but even that is not a problem cause you are presenting this to people that don't care about the technical details..

no ho mai avuto il tempo di farlo. Un migliaio di render però li ho sugli hd, fatti tutti con vray.
