I try to cool my computer like this
are you sure the bottom fan is great for cooling?
Meanwhile in Indonesia... I had to say it lmao, couldn't help it. just kidding, sick setup. I like how you previously ate the cans' contents prior to using them as pillars.

Hi guys, thanks you like my crazy setup.
Hi mbetke, I take photo from my blackberry, low quality camera on it
Yes Poupin, in Indonesia very hot  ,

Here are the better image I take from my SLR

hope its can give you some inspiration (not for someone who have cats  )
no cats matej hahaha. I put this computer in the safe place on the corner of room.
Acctually I done this because I am being upset with the temperature in my gpu but dont have many budget for new cases

its 90 when full render and many time the computer off because off the heat.
the one that make it hot is gtx 590. after I hang the gtx460, it become 70 C without fan.
but the gtx 590 still 90. after I put the big fan, it become 85 :D

a tip (hopefully) to get the 590 even cooler: put the, um, "external fan" ;) beside it, not behind; the cooler fan tries to blow out the hot air to the back, but your fan just blows it right back in. if you use the msi afterburner tool (works with every nvidia card) you can edit the temperature/speed graph of the gtx 590 fan (if you don't mind a little extra noise). normally it is set quite conservative because vendors prefer lower noise over lower temperatures.

by the way: a great case for 2-4 card setups also is the TJ07 from silverstone; the TJ11's little brother (for around half the price) ;)

have it "working" with two overclocked 580's like a charm (and very silent). the upward mounting (seems to be unique to silverstone) cuts off some 10 degrees of conventional setups. even the small footprint FT03 (http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=291) is able to keep two high grade cards cool without any problems (more won't work because of the µATX design)...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

Its smilar to my setup except you have three cards more, hehe. 1,5KW PSU is heavy...how does it perform if you idle and do modelling for example when three cards are not needed?
Do the graphic cards need power then or can it turned off and only on for renderjobs?

Would be nice if you have some answers. I guess its nice for games too. :D
yes, it's called "decibel" 0,79€ but on Appstore you can find many similar free apps

Regarding the psu I don't think that the gpus suck 1200w of power when idle.

For games I don't think that it's the right configuration, you can't have 4 sli, the Asus it's 3 way only.

The future of this config is to use the new 590 6GB and have 8 processors with 3Gb each, or buy the new TJ12 and use 7 GTX580......or the new GTX600 that is 3x faster than the GTX580, but I donno if it will require the new pci-e 3.0.
In the meanwhile cuda 4.1 will sum all the ram sharing it to the gpus....

I think it will be a while until we see 6GB consumer cards. Too much competition to professional Nvidia cards. Maybe in the 6XX GTX generation.

As I case I use the large Lian LI: http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product/pr ... s_index=61
Its a really large monster and does a great job with stock air coolers and have lot of space inside. One downside is the power and USB slots on the top because it hardly fits under my desk and its nearly impossbile to reach the top USB ports.

Oh this is really okay for such a lot of high-end GPU.

Hi Gabrielefx,
WOW! That's a nice configuration. At this moment I am trying to match my budget with such kind of configuration. Do you think the speed of working in OCtane will decrease a lot if I skip the "Win 7 Ultimate installed on dual 128Gb ssd Kingston in raid-1"and install the OS on the hybrid Seagate Momentus XT (it is a hybrid: 750gB 7200rpm with 8gb ssd cache on it) and will keep the "2x128Gb Kingston ssd raid-0 for textures".

Nice vid btw,
