Materials and textures A++. However something is wrong with the scale. The door knob is way too high also the door looks(giant) too high and wide and the painting appears to be too low.
If your clear span is 2.6-2.8m the door will be about 2m.

2 meters is about a good height for a common door, isn't it? :)
edit: or did you mean it should be 2 meters? me too thinks, that the combination of the painting height and dorknob height looks a little odd...
The obvious is that which is never seen until someone expresses it simply

LOL yeah the door does look funny!!! Is the door from cleints 3D model. Could also be the persepctivce angle. Basic setup sun system, path no portals and that's about it.

Cheers

usually a door is 204cm in high (here in switzerland)

take a ruler and check the knob on any door close to you
it won't be higher than 100cm

other than that (and the image) its looking great
also nice light.

nice woodwork..
maybe try and add the SSS shader to the small white cabinets, as to make it acrylic white - cause you might get another realistic detail that the eye will recognise as a real photo - those cabinets look a bit sharp and digital, some slight scratches.. vignetting?...
and the carpet needs just a bit more work, other than that it's pretty good work

Nice room. But yes, the door knob is very high ! Maybe it is a safety trick to prevent a child from falling down the stairs behind the door ! He will never be able to reach the door knob !
