Hi Guys,
I´m Getting some difficulties to set ambient Occlusion with 2.52 version.
Daylight is giving me problems too.
Can someone please help me to understand how to set ambiente occlusion? By the way... Someone recomends to use ambient occlusion with color render made with pmc?
Here a first image using pmc.

Hey Vagos, you were right! I decrease Ao Distance and it works...
So I changed my octane exporter to centimeters and everything gets normal!
Thanks!

Hmm, I also encounter a problem of too strong AO, and my scale and export parameters seems to be correct. I'll investigate more...

for those who love DL, which is nice for some quick first shots, aodist is a must, sometimes changing 3.0 to 3.5 is also nice, or for those tiny narrow bathrooms it can get as low as 2 to have nicely distributed AO that won't make everything dark.
good luck!
good luck!
My AO problem wasn't exactly an AO problem, or not only : It is a bad smoothing effect on low poly meshes. Under some angles, it gives ugly dark spots in the AO areas.
