nice video! how do you obtain that realistic cracks in objects using blender? is it an explode modifier or what?

Everything was done in blender 2.56. The physics are recorded from the game engine and the objects were separated into pieces with Fracture Tools which is built in 2.56 and you can enable them from user preferences.
