We are running Hou20.0.724 and Octane 2023.1.3.1. We have cached out a vdb sequence (generated with Axiom) to render a very simple scene. We have tried rendering with and without denoise volumes active, but this error still repeats every single frame. We are currently running in full scene reload mode because we need to for the vdb sequence to update at render time. The rendered frames do have the volume denoised, but the errors persist. Is there something we are missing with our setup that we need to do in order to cease this error from happening? Thanks to anyone who has the time to respond:)
Here is the error... the last line repeats every frame.
*** OCTANE API ERROR: Error: A denosier thread failed to push a CUDA context
*** OCTANE API ERROR: denoiserThread1 has failed to allocate memory with error code 2. The render must be stopped and restarted to run the denoiser on the device again
*** OCTANE API ERROR: denoiserThread1 has already failed; it's not possible to allocate memory until the render is stopped and restarted.

Hi, do the frames complete and it is just an error message, or does it stop at the end of the frame for 'denoise on completion'?
Can you check if you still have sufficient VRAM?
Please send me a sample scene with 2 frames that still give the issue and we can check it out. (linked here or PM)
Thx!
