What would materiel settings for vantablack look like in Octane?

Pretty much.

It's essentially a rough surface (scattering light is the trick to avoid reflection in real product surfaces) and highly absorbing material. Glossy Octane material with near pure black (not actually pure black), low specular level and high enough roughness would be a more true-to-life approach.
