Okay, I have a three point lighting system I am using, one behind and two in front. The one behind is close to the floor and keeps giving too much light on the floor. Is it possible to make the floor invisible to that specific light (it's pointing up, so it's not creating shadows on the floor as it is) while still leaving it to be affected by other lights?
I'm often having the same issue(s) ... two things I then try is either using an IES file of rather narrow spotlight, scale and position it (plus the emitter), that is just hits the object.
Or I uncheck the emitter option, to cast light on Diffuse Materials (and/or on Specular Materials, depending on what it should be).
