I was slightly bored so I did set up this bath, typical of my portfolio (and found few issues with Rhino mapping system)

original scene 2560x1600 , stopped at 46minutes cooking / 3000samples

Hope you like it ;)

AhAh, it looks like most CG artist don't have girl friends keeping the bathroom busy, so they have plenty of time to observe details in the bathroom and create bathroom models !

Nice one.

If using R4, by default rhino will fit map to object. You can override this in the 'texture' tab of the obj. props. window. or just play with the U or V settings under 'Modify' for the material itself on the selected object in question

Yep..but I'm testing R5 as it does export the scene to Octane better way than R4 (see: http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... =41&t=3424 )

The thing is that the wall is a single mesh but once the map reach the corner it offset the mapping down a bit like stretching it. I'm investigating the issue as I also had kind of the same with Bump mapping in R4 were the bump map (same as the Diffuse map but in bw) did not apply correctly but with an odd offset behaviourof of some units)
