Is it just me or this this functionality seems to be broken in just about any material but the Composite Material. When I add some roughness and then move the anisotrophy slider nothing happens. The parameter does work when I use it in Sub-Materials.
I tested this in v4 and also the latest version of Octane 2020.
NVM It seems this is now happening with every material...

Did you change brdf type and glossiness? It must be done

Oh my god... That was it! I'm glad I asked, thank you!
While we are at it, is there a chance to set as default one of the new BRDF modes? I always find myself changing the BRDF to something like GGX (Which is a bit ironic since this problem happened to me because I didn't)

Octane type is still default value in standalone. So I believe there may be a reason to keep synched defaults.

Hi guys,
Im also having this issue and it doesnt seem to be resolved when I change the BRDF type from Octane and the Material type to Glossy - what am I missing here?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
