I added some Octane lights into my scene and I'm trying to export with f10 but when it goes the second frame it crashes. I delete the octane lights and it exports fine.
Hi,
Are you exporting your scene in "scene update" mode, that is the only mode supported to export animated .orbx files? In this case, this seems a bug. If you can send me the scene I could try to reproduce the problem here. The log file that you get after the crash could help also.
Thanks,
-Juanjo

Hi,
Thanks for the scene. It seems a problem related to the "Update Light Parameters" option in the render target root node options panel. If you disable it all works fine.
Do you need this feature in this scene? Probably the problem is that to "update" the light parameters, the plugin is fully destroying the light object, building it from the ground up for each frame, something not compatible with exporting animated .orbx files.
Thanks,

I'm assuming I don't need that but I don't know what its exactly doing.
This option can be enabled to update the light parameters (like the color or the intensity) if they are animated using "E" envelopes. Unfortunately, it works rebuilding the lights for each frame, so this is why this feature has problems with the animated .orbx file export feature.
