@Radiance, I will submit a flv for the video gallery but want te rerender this with some tips I get from the users here. The tip from "peterd" to use a alpha map of a circle with blurred edges to use on the floor to get rid of the square and get a nice round effect it is not working for me. When I add this Octane is slowing down from 7 to 1 s/px and is hanging every 5 to 10 seconds then it's rendering again for 5 to 10 seconds.

@GeorgoSK, Thanks, love lego too :)

@Hawker, Tanks :)

@bazuka, Thakns, didn't use the exporter. Exported it once in Maya and did a turntable in Octane.

Hi,
I'm a Lego fan and I can say that this is a really great job!!

Anyway, if you have not too much time to spend on building or not enough founds to get a Solidworks license, I can suggest a software I'm working on to create and animate Lego Models.
It is called SR 3D Builder and it is available from http://sr3dbuilder.altervista.org/
No user input required to set parts connections or interaction: just build and animate !

What you can do with it ? well, here are a pair of videos and the link to of the official Youtube channel.
Enjoy

Sergio
