Hi all,

I separate a scene into several layers. I save them in png16bits tonemapped.
I am separating characters from the everything else.

Kernel is direct lightning.
Kernel alpha settings are :
- alpha shadow : ON.
- alpha channal : ON.
- keep environment : ON. (Anyway, environment isn't seen with the camera I am rendering now, only ground is seen with this camera, but this is consitent with other cameras).

Imager alpha settings are :
- premultiply alpha : ON.
- disable partial alpha : ON.

And alpha channel of this characters layer is wrong :
It looks like a color layer rendered with alpha straight. I mean alpha isn't colored, but alpha edges are not antialiased but stepped like should be a color layer rendered with an alpha in straight mode. And more than that, color layer is antialiased like should be the alpha. Things seems inverted.

Any suggestions ?

Thanx for your answers.

Solved !

I had to uncheck disable partial alpha in imager.

Hopefully my characters are not in glass material. But what happens if I need opaque alpha on glass material but with right alpha channel edges ?
