As always I need it yesterday. We asked it about 1.5 yeas ago, when was Metaverse challenge. All my clients ask to add some glow effects to cubemap, and I cant do this.
my state of mind: Otoy and Octane position themself as company and render for VR. I understand that this is priorety. And you do nothing in this direction. As user of Octane, sorry but I dont see any steps.
- Why not to make some android/iphone/PC app where we can test and view our cubemaps? For now i use Holodesj and Sview. But I want this app from Otoy.
- Post effect dont work in VR (and we need more effects). Maybe we need to wait for OctaneImager? As I understood right, it will give us some post production tools, olso for VR. But how long, 1-2 years? Maybe it is time to make alpha version and start test it? Because I dont believe that 3.1 will come in next year. We still do not have final 3.0.

Our immediate focus is on Gear VR in order to support Oculus and the Metaverse competition. We do plan on bringing OBRX media playback to all platforms, including the web, PC VR, Morpheus, HoloLens, Mobile (Android), STB (AndroidTV, possibly Tizen/WebOS) and more. We'll post details when we are further along with each of these efforts.
Also I have LG TV with 3d, and will be nice to view VR octane renders on my TV.

Daydream and regular android is working in an internal build, and that should be out Q1 hopefully.
When we can render cubemaps with Post effects?
