I would appreciate anyone that could give me some feedback on this. I used the same texture map surface and texture map to do the pre-finished birch finish on the face of the plywood panels, the end grain is fine, it's just layered plywood. The issue I have is the top panel in the rendering, the texture does not render properly. It's just horizontal lines. I tried re-mapping it several times, and it always looks like what is pictured.

Thanks,

Paul W.

Do you have no UVs, and are using Box Projection? Or if you have UVs, are those at top dupes of lower?

I am using UV maps. Each face off the plywood structure has it's own UV map for the face, they all share the same texture images though. This structure is made up of 9 parts, all textured and mapped the same way. This one part won't render correctly for what ever reason.

How many UVs total are there? If you have 9 surfaces, each with its own UV map, in one object, that may be your problem. Or are you saying 9 UV islands in one UV?

Originally they were all in the same group, same UV. For the part that has the issues I created it's own UV map separate from the rest and the issue still persist.

Did you remake your UV for this part anew, or did you just copy/paste into a new one? To me, this looks like an error one would get from transforming surface polys after making UV. I really think you need to completely kill this UV and make it again, regardless.

Hi Paul,
if you switch the kernel to InfoChannel / Texture coordinates, you can visually chack is something is wrong in uvs:
