@Lechu

Do you have a Vimeo account?
Your video tutorial is the first video in the Vimeo group http://www.vimeo.com/groups/octanerender :)
Good capture, even when rendering Cam Studio managed to capture well.

Hi guys,

If people want to, they can record more videos and post links here,
you could include it in your submission.

We can post these videos on our videos page to show other people how users are using octane to make artwork.
It won't influence you're winning submission though, as that would be unfair towards people who can't make videos (eg who don't have microphones etc...)

Thanks ;)

These are my final images for the contest.

Render are sorted with screenshots to see the info on the timing and sample + memory used ...some fireflies ....But I think it will disappear in future releases with MLT and QMC and even a better sampling for detailed scenes

I used hotpixel 1.3 (free plugin for PS) to remove the little dotLUM.....and some post always in PS.

Only 2 ponits to explain my work ....and to considerate it:

- The scene is not a simple STUDIOSHOT with 3-4 material

- The scene is an interior with glass applied to the 2 front windows.

I also did a video tutorial in Italian which I hope will be helpfull .... using Cinema4d .... I also added a video importing an obj from C4D to OCTANErender.

C4D to Octane Render .part1

C4D to Octane Render .part2

Thanks to everyone and go to the comments ....

Hello, Folks. Wonderful works you've posted up there!
With much admiration, I would like to post my work as follows:

My name: George Kim (Dong Hoon Kim)
Technical details:
a. Polygons: 535774 Triangles.
b. Rendertime: 00:14:20; 00:17:11.
c. Softwares used: Blender, Gimp.
d. Modelling & textures & rigging: Done by me. (Except the sky. )
About my submission: Being a part-time lifeguard Instructor, I've been thinking about using computer animations to teach my students swimming-related techniques that are hard to demonstrate on land. And to that end, I've been developing this swimmer model for quite a long time. The following is entitled "A-syncronized Diving." (Please note the pre-fix "a-." )

Hi,

Very nice render, the skin material on the hand is very realistic :)
But you only posted a screenshot, no render ?
