keyable environment textures
Moderator: JimStar
I haven't been able to figure out a way to set keyframes for the environment texture file. This is a must in my workflow. I do product visualization and need a new environment per each frame. If this is possible to do, any insight would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!

If you want an animated image sequence as environment just enable the "use image sequence" attribute in the OctaneImageTexture Node.
But If you want to key the "image number" instead of using the builtin expression, you may have to delete the expression or break the connection in the node editor instead of the attribute editor, there a bug here which delete the OctaneImageTexture node at the same time as the expression.
But if you want to directly key the "filename" attribute, that's not possible, you have to rename your HDRs as a file sequence and use the "use image sequence" attribute.
