Hello all,

Its been like a month since i have posted something here. Thats due to exams and working experience.
But here is something that i have been playing with.
The durian artists have sent out a test or a benchmark scene to the public.
And i thought to my self why dont i render out the sintel model.

After some post po work here it is.

**read the what needs to be done under the bottom**
**I didn't make the model [obviously]**

Image

**There some cloth geometry that hasent been unwrapped so i need to do that**
**Need to easy the bump or the spec for the skin**
**Need to get better metal material**
**I need to and pose the model, thanks nath for the rigs XD **
**going to make my own background [model scene]**
**Is there a way to render hair yet in octane??**

Thats about it XD

Interesting =)

I too would like to know if we could render hair in octane.

I'm guessing that we would have to export it somehow from
Blender.

In Blender 2.5 you can click "Convert" for the hair particle system.

I would try this out but Octane seems to crash for every object file
that my Blender 2.5 dishes out.

Hey mib2berlin,

this is very handy.
Could you make one last screenshot of it that's %100 correct and then i can add it to our OBJ export settings in the resources forum ?
The only thing missing is to enable the 'triangulate' option.

Cheers, mib

thanks a lot, just post it in the sticky OBJ export settings thread, it's in the top of the resources forum.
