I'm having so much fun rendering scenes with OctaneVR and viewing them in Oculus Rift.

So I tried to pluck a chunk of one of my old Minecraft worlds (started waay back during the MC alpha days) with Mineways tool and render it in OctaneVR. :)

Here's the preview:

What?
I thought OctaneVR didn´t support the Oculus, only the samsung gear?
Since when is this working with the dk2 and how?
I searched but didn´t find the thread were this is described.

Well, basically this is a stereo jpeg - so it's platform independent. :)

You can put it in various VR players or picture viewers made for Oculus Rift that support stereo and this particular projection. Personally I am viewing it in Whirligig Player using Barrel SBS format.

Here's another one. Think i'll have to export another chunk because it's quite obvious here that everything beneath the sea level has been clipped away.
