Hello, i try to match my render passes in linear(tone mapped) workflow.

If i select: "render buffer type: float (tonemapped)"-> the beauty image looks nice (as i wish)
problem here: if i match all my passes in photoshop ( all merged with linear dodge (add)), the image looks a way to bright!!!

PS: If i select: "render buffer type: float without "tone mapped", every looks fine, but the colors are different( more red)
Can anyone tell me where my problem is?

best

You said the problem actually. Don't you watch the passes tutorials?

Yes i have.
Ok i'm the problem, yes. ;-)

Need i select "render buffer type: float (without tonemapped) and then color-correct it in post?
Or is there another way to get the result like in the "tone mapped" rendering ? :-)

Thanks

If you use passes and you are sensitive to colors, don't use any tonemap things. It will cause wrong color information on each passes. This is big chaos for compositing.
Best use linear camera images with gamma 2.2 and floattbuffer on rendering. Pure colors.
