Hello ;)
I have two objects one on the other and I would like to render the one behind with no alpha and the foreground with either alpha in my image sequence, what are the parameters to select or remove?

My alpha result is totally all white...

I think this is easy but I haven't found it! :D

(no mockery please! ;) )

thank you for you answer.

You have the option to enable the alpha channel in the render target kernel node.

Hi Juanjo, yes I have already checked the alpha channel in the render target kernel node.
Here are some screenshots to explain what I'm looking...
alpha1.jpg
alpha2.jpg
alpha3.jpg
alpha4.jpg
alpha5.jpg

I want to get the bottom of the final object and the alpha of the object in the foreground in the same image in order to rework the result in a soft compositing.
thank you for your answer.

Sorry, Octane doesn't support custom alpha values in the objects or surfaces, but if you are working with Octane 2.2 you can use the new "Layers" feature to render the foreground object and the background in two layers. Each layer has it's own alpha channel, and you can combine the two layers in post.
