Hi,
many clients of mine are asking for animations similar to the pdf instruction manual look.
I need to render with a flat material that draws only the edges.
The result should be similar to the Vray toon shader with the possibility to switch on-off the ambient occlusion.
I need to adjust the line thickness and the color.
thank you
Toon shader

although someone did mention something can be done.. via wireframe rendering option.. which would be pretty nice -
- I am guessing you tried doing the dirt set on inverse as a shader - works ok on some scenes but behaves differently according to the scale of a object..

you can achieve something pretty good with DirectLight/ambient (White nev) and dirt texture (with normal inverted) but it's not a very good toon shader.
As far as i'm concerned, octane is missing simple shaders as toon, flat, fast sss, true architectural glass ...

Keyshot has nice shaders and because we use Octane also for industrial and product design renders I would like to see these shaders in Octane.
I don't understand why Inventor users didn't have requested yet this feature.
