Hi guys i was wondering if anyone could post some examples of mesh and area lighting and some good samples of what can be achieved with it. I took a look around on the net but i was getting pretty random results and was hoping some of you guys have some nice references.
I understand its not yet implemented into octane but would like to get a clearer idea of what can be achieved when it does arrive.
Till now I've only ever really used the old standard lights in 3D programs since rendering was always so expensive and the initial set-ups and parameters seemed quite complex, aside from the occasional final gather render in Maya, im very inexperienced in these, then expensive lighting methods.
So far I've been really impressed with Octane's speed it reminds me of tweaking using IPR and the software renderer in Maya, its great!.
Anyone have some Mesh lighting samples?
