Hi this is my second try with this great render, and i don't know who said it here but he was right, "octane is highly addictive"
I have two questions, which may have been already answered but i tried to find something and couldn't.
first about the antialising, this can be changed in the kernel by checking the filter, but this filter is blurring too much for me
will there be some other or is it a different wy for the antialiasing?
Second is regarding the clay model, and i think there is an issue with the white spots gi down at the end of the wall behind the chair and i think it should be
more dark in my opinion.

I'm not sure, its look like a light leak, could be a model related or directlight AO related..
As for the AA there is a very nice solution, you can read it here:http://www.refractivesoftware.com/forum ... f=21&t=878
BTW you sofa look metallic. Try to up the bounces in pathtracing kernel, you'll get far more pleasant results..

thanx,
whats the difference between directlighting and pathtracing in the kernel preview?...(i know pathtracing is slower...probably more accurate?)

directlighting is not unbiased, it's just computing an ambient lighting + direct lighting (the sun)
pathtracing is unbiased
pathtracing is unbiased
