Stereo render?

are you crazy?...:D

I'm kidding...I'm a fan of stereoscopy and with 4K TVs we will see the redemption of 3D.
On 4K TVs stereoscopic movies are stunning, I own the new Sony 55X900.

I think 1.3 and 1.4 are release candidate, and 1.5 - stable release version

Something along those lines. The original plan was for 1.3 to introduce scripting, and 1.4 to add Alembic support. Since both ended up getting finished at the same time they are being combined into a larger release.

After 1.5 is out, we will be moving on to 2.0, which will require compute model 2 cards (basically DX11 GPUs) or later to support key new features being developed. As Marcus mentioned, the faster light sampling for mesh emitters may or may not make it into 1.5, depending on whether we can get it working on older GPUs, which we will keep supporting through 1.5.

Would love to see gradients. Really missing the, in my texturing. (Or are the purely a Lightwave thing?)

Will I be ok with a Titan fir version 2?

That's a limitation of the API. Gradient nodes are a bit tricky, which is why they aren't supported yet.

Yes, of course.

NO motion blur in 1.5? Are you kidding? Every render has it and it is THE most important features these days for professional animation and you dont implement it, while other render engines have it since 2 years.

Guys WHY?????? You are forcing me to leave Octane! I don´t want to. Why you don´t implement it in 1.5? You have no idea how sad i became, when i red Karbas statement!
