Hi Guys i have a question, is it possible that the standalone version of octane works faster than the plugin? just a naive question... am experimenting a lot with octane, and for example i notice very interesting things when you change your scene scale inside of max, i was working in cm.. and everything was kinda slow, then i change to mm. and then hell breaks loose, very fast. sadly not enough for night shot interiors...

The rendering speed should be the same similar between the plugin and standalone, although I have noticed when using RENDER button inside max to output final frames it is slower than the interactive viewport, for some reason. The workflow between the plugin and standalone is quite similar, but with the standalone version you have added benefit of more flexibility to edit your scene more quickly and efficiently. The real benefit of the plugin is ultimately for much faster animation rendering and a shorter workflow in taking your geometry, textures, lights to the rendering stage.

Cheers

Karba says, it´s a bug; so maybe this is just a temporary issue.
