used 400 samples with direct light.

But the render kept tripping samples after half way or so with each shot.
Once it dropped samples down to 40 or 50 for one frame then it will continue to render the rest of the remaining frames in the same samples when the samples setting are set to 400.

This happend during each shot and I had to stay awake and monitor each shot. There were around 12 shots, each took about an hour or more. Each shot went thruough the same problem. I just restarted the render from the point it messed up the frames. Any idea why that happened or any one ever had this experience?

Thanks - Nik
